1. Can you really leave a lace front wig on for 6 to 8 weeks? We would advise anyone who is wearing a lace front wig for six to eight weeks to please STOP. Your natural hair needs to be washed and conditioned at least once a week. Just because you have a lace front wig on does not mean you should stop taking care of your regular hair.
2. Endura Bond adhesive is good for a Beginner. Absolutely NOT! Endura Bond adhesive is definitely not the best choice for a novice and we would recommend that it only be used by professionals. Reason being is that you have to use Endura Bond Sparely and we mean little drops applied with a toothpick. As far as we know, there is no Youtube video displaying the proper technique on how to apply this adhesive. Beginners please use Secure or Invisa-bond adhesive.
3. Nonprofessional hair care products are good for your lace front wig hair. This is really not the most prudent of ideas, being that nonprofessional hair care products contain many inferior ingredients, such as petroleum and alcohol. You should only use professional salon hair products on your lace wig.
4. All hairstylists can apply lace front wigs. Not everyone has the gift or experience to apply a lace front wig. We would recommend you ask the hairstylist for references and pictures of previous clients before you make a decision.
5. You should always cut the lace all the way back to the hairline. We would recommend you leave out at least a ½ inch of lace from the hairline. This will make applying your lace wig easier and faster. This also prevents you from having to worry about cleaning adhesive from out of the hairline.
